The Blessing of the Fleet is a time-honored tradition for fishing communities that was meant to ensure a safe and bountiful season. We invite all boaters to be a part of this year’s Festival by having your watercraft blessed during the Bristol Harbor Festival and Blessing of the Fleet on Saturday, August 17th at 1:00 pm. 

 

All watercraft wishing to participate in the Blessing of the Fleet should be lined up behind the Harbor Patrol boat between the State Street Dock and Stone Harbor by 12:30 PM. We will be monitoring VHF channel 17 during the Blessing of the Fleet.

 

We also encourage you to stay for all the festivities throughout the day, including our Traditional Littleneck Boil put on by local fishermen. Tickets for the Littleneck Boil (or optional Steak Dinner) are $30.00 and will be on sale soon.
